I am wondering if the 65, 66 convertible frames are the same as the 67-69 convertible frames. Im looking for a clean frame for my 65 impala Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

Years ago, some one had informed me that all '65-'70 Full size frames were the same, they however, were sadly mistaken.

In the course of trying to find a replacement convertible top for my '66 Imp, I tried a '70 LeMans, which was too short, a '69 Cadillac which was too long and then found a '66 Olds that appears to be just the right length.

My problem is that the support channel is totally rusted away wheel well to wheel well (too many years in Hawaii's salty environment!)

I think that if you stick with looking for the '65-'66 models, you will have better success.
