I have a 1966 Impala with a 327/275HP L30 engine. Should there be "Turbofire 327/275" labels on the valve covers and air cleaner? It seems redundant. The assembly manual shows labels on the valve covers, but not sure about the air cleaner.

You bet !!!! The 327 labels on the valve covers are gold and black, and go right in the center where there is a flat square area, and the 1/4 circle air cleaner label that is orange and silver, goes on the front most area of the cover as it's installed. Also, there is a small blue and white air cleaner maintainence label that goes on the lower rear section of the air cleaner housing as it's installed. Hope this helps, Dave.

This to me seems redundant. I know that valve cover decals were used, but were they "327 turbo-fire" or "327 turbo-fire 275HP"? Both labels are available. It would make sense if the HP was left off the valve covers and label utilized on air cleaner stating 275HP? Am I making sense? Also, anybody know who offers the best stock dual exhaust kits that include resonators and the correct bends? something that passes judging.
